St Mary’s Church Choir
Will resume practice on Wednesday 13th September at 8pm. Before the summer break a few people expressed an interest in joining. So come along & new members will be warmly welcomed. You may also contact Breda or any choir member.

Hospice Coffee Morning
Thursday 14th September is national Hospice Coffee Morning. On that morning there will be the usual Coffee Morning in the home of Alice Taylor. Everybody welcome & all proceeds to Marymount. Please come and support this great cause.
Cork Scripture Group
Sr. Mary T Brien PBVM will facilitate 4 nights on St Paul entitled “For our Instruction: For our Time. Paul’s letter to the Christians in Rome.” It will take place in Scala, Blackrock on Mondays 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd October 2017 from 7.30 – 9.30 p.m. Cost €50. All are welcome. Innishannon Playground Group 5K Family Fun Run
Innishannon Playground Group are holding a 5K Family Fun Run on Sunday Sept. 17th at 2pm. All walkers, runners, bikes, buggies and dogs (on leads) are welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Hall. On the day, trophies will be presented to the fastest boy & girl from each of the local schools along with a prize for the fastest lady and gent! This promises to be a fantastic day out for all the family. Registration can be made online through www.eventbrite.ie. You can also register locally at Rohu’s and The Found Out Café. Alternatively you can register in the Hall on the day. These events succeed with a lot of assistance from local volunteers. Tidy Towns Work Night
This Tuesday night at 7.30pm at the Bridge, to trim the beech hedge, cut the grass and clear weeds. Please come and help to get the Bandon entrance looking well.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service, Thank You
On behalf of The Irish Blood Transfusion Service. Please pass on our thanks to all who contributed to the running of this. Clinic. 286 Donors attended our Blood Donor Clinic in Bandon GAA Pavilion. This generosity and commitment to helping others is very much appreciated. Donating Blood is a precious gift that brings life and hope to patients, their families and friends.
Sage Support & Advocacy Service (Charity)
Sage promotes and support the rights of vulnerable adults and older people. Sage was established in September 2014. Its development has been influenced by the scandals of Leas Cross in 2005 and Aras Attracta in 2014. Sage was funded by the HSE and The Atlantic Philanthropies with the support and governance of Third Age. We are currently recruiting for volunteers in 6 target areas; Dublin, Kildare, Wicklow, Cork & Kerry, Galway & Mayo, North West Area (Sligo, Roscommon, Leitrim, Longford), Mid-West (Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary), South East (Waterford, Carlow, South Tipperary, Wexford). All our volunteers are Garda Vetted and trained.
