Station Mass

Station for Russell Hill & Crowhill on Friday 24th May at 8pm in Teresa & Martin Cremin’sStation forSkevanish at Helen & Martin O’Callaghan’s 13th June at 7.30pm.   A mass will take place on Wednesday 22nd May in Innishannon at 7.30pm & Thursday 23rd May in Knockavilla at 9.30 for the areas who had no station mass this Spring.

In Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament during the following times:  Innishannon Wednesdays from 10.00-1.00 and from 3.00 to 9.00;    Knockavilla Fridays after the 9.30 Mass and in Upton on Tuesdays from 10.30-1.00, from 3.00-5.00 and from 8.00-9.00.

Vocations to the Priesthood – Is God Calling You?

May Rosary in the Grotto

On Sunday and Thursday evenings at 8pm there will be Rosary in the Grotto for all who are sick in our Parish.  And in thanksgiving for those who are recovering.  Everybody welcome.

The Friendship Club

Day of Recollection

St. Benedict’s Priory, Cobh – you are invited to a Day of Recollection. Talks, Adoration, Holy Mass at 9am (Priory), or 10am in Cobh Cathedral.  Lunch provided. 25th May, 11am-3.30pm. Knockavilla I.C.A

Knockavilla ICA are hosting an evening with style coach Sharon Huggard. Wednesday 16th May at 8.30pm in Knockavilla Community Hall. All fashion questions from accessories to footwear will be addressed. Bandon fashion boutiques will feature. Refreshments and a raffle. All welcome. 

Gardens & Galleries

This year Gardens and Galleries will be held on Sat 15th and Sun 16th June.   Cor Castle is open again, together with many new gardens and a varied palette of artists.  So hold the date and invite your friends to Innishannon that weekend to enjoy a creative artistic and stimulating visit.

Gurrane National School 50 Years of Sporting Fun (Open Sports & Mass/Refreshments)

Gurrane NS invites you to our 50th Open Sports, Friday 17th May, Brinny GAA grounds. A fun family event featuring tiny tots, three legged race, sack race, long jump and sprint races. Team events include sprint relays and the evening culminates with our famous Tug of War competition. All welcome, Registration from 6pm and first race from 6.30pm, See you there!.

2019 marks the 50th Gurrane School Sports. Please join us in celebrating this fantastic milestone and the significant contribution made by parents, teachers, pupils and members of the local community on Sunday 26th May at 1.30pm for a celebratory mass in the school. Glaslinn Choir Gala Concert, Bandon

The choir is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.  To mark the occasion, a gala concert will be held in St Patricks Church, Bandon on Friday 24th May at 8pm.  The choir will be joined by well-known soloist Linda Kenny, Dan Twomey & harpist Mairéad Casey.  The concert is in aid of two charities: Bandon Hyperbaric Oxygen Centre and Cork ARC Cancer Support House.  Tickets are €20 and on sale in Brooks Pharmacy, Hickey’s Bookshop, O’Farrell’s Newsagent, B.H.O.C & online at the Cork ARC House website and from any choir member.  Everyone is welcome to what should be a fantastic night of music & celebration.

The organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Parent Evening on Tuesday 21st May at 7:20pm in the Munster Arms Hotel, Bandon. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
