Priests Christmas Collection
The Christmas Day Collection will be taken up at Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day for the support of your priest.
The priest’s income comes from the Christmas Day and Easter Sunday Collections, spring and Autumn Stations, offerings for Baptisms, Marriages, Funerals and Mass Offerings.
NB. The priest does not receive his income from the weekly and special collections, the only two exceptions are Christmas Day and Easter Sunday.
Envelopes for the Christmas Day Collection are available in both Churches, if you use the Sunday envelopes, it has a special envelope for the Christmas Day priest’s collection.

Valley Rovers Community Breakfast Morning
Valley Rovers community breakfast morning is being held Sunday the 16th of December in Innishannon Hall from 9.30-12.30. Last year’s event was a great success and enjoyable morning for all. We look forward to seeing you all again this year. All proceeds go towards the continued development of parish facilities for the benefit of everyone in the parish. Also the Puck Fada will take place on St. Stephen’s morning. Registration will be from 11.30am in Crowley’s of Innishannon and puck off will be at 12.
Valley Rovers History
Valley Rovers are in the process of gathering information with the view to recording the History of Gaelic games in the parish in a book. This project is covering all aspects of Gaelic Games, hurling, football, camogie and ladies football.
If you have any memorabilia, pictures, old medals , old minutes, books, old AGM reports or any historical information we would greatly appreciate if you would share it with us. We have set up an email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Also we will be in Innishannon Hall Sun Dec 30th from 2-4pm for people to come and bring any interesting items including photographs which we can scan so you can take your items home again. On Sunday 16th Dec at 7.30 in the Parish Hall, Innishannon will celebrate the many milestones reached in 2018. The Parish Hall and Tidy Towns are both celebrating their 50th Birthday. Innishannon Candlelight is celebrating its 35th edition. And also on the night a new Innishannon Leisure Walks brochure will be launched. The Parish Hall will be in festive mode and Christmas fare will be served. Everybody welcome to come and celebrate these land mark events. Celebrating Innishannon’s many birthdays in 2018 – Come and be part of it!
Candlelight is now on sale in Innishannon, Crossbarry, Knockavilla and Bandon. This is our 35th edition and is a bumper edition. It will make wonderful Christmas reading and what a lovely gift to send to family members far from Innishannon.
