Three transition year students from the parish who attend St Brogan’s College, Bandon; Eoghan Lynch, Niamh Crowley & David Kelly are going to Romania for 10 days during the Easter Holiday to help build housing with Habitat for Humanity. 21st March, Down’s syndrome Day (Guinness World Record)
In aid of The Down Syndrome Centre Cork, Bingo at the Rock will be hosting their annual coffee morning in aid of the charity from 10am-12 noon. FREE tea & coffee and cake on the day as well as some amazing spot prizes that will be raffled. Aside from the coffee morning, they will also be making an attempt to break the WORLDS LARGEST BINGO CARD world record. This will begin at 12:30 followed by some bingo and major fun!! Tickets to be involved in the attempt at breaking the world record will be €20 and this will give the ticket holder entry into the game by means of a 3-page bingo book.
