Holy Thursday – 10am Chrism Mass St Marys Cathedral, Cork.  5pm Mass in Knockavilla, 7.30pm Mass of The Last Supper in Innishannon, 9.30-10.30pm Holy Hour in Innishannon.

Good Friday 10.30am Children’s Stations of the Cross in Innishannon, 3pm Stations of the Cross, Innishannon, 8pm Celebration of The Lord’s Passion in Knockavilla.

Holy Saturday – Confession 11.30-12.30 in Innishannon & 3-4pm in Knockavilla.  Easter Vigil 9pm in Innishannon (no 6.30pm Mass)

Priests Easter Collection

The Priests Easter Collection will take place Easter Sunday April 1st (Only collection that day).  Only two collections per year go directly to the priest, this Easter Collection & the Christmas Collection.  Envelopes are available in both Churches.

Valley Rovers GAA Lotto

History of GAA in Innishannon Parish Valley Rovers are in the process of gathering information with the view of recording the History of Gaelic games in the parish in a book.  We need your Help!!  If you have any memorabilia, pictures, old medals, old minute books, old AGM reports (prior to 2000) etc. in your possession.  We have set up an email address for your convenience that you can email any items if you wish.  For more details or any queries please contact John Lynch at 087-7617532 or any club officer.  Please spread the word!

Gurrane National School Community Walk

On Sunday 8th April at 2pm. As the school is very much part of the local community we would like to invite all our neighbours, past pupils, past parents & especially new people & new families to join us for an enjoyable community gathering. Scoil Mhaoilíósa, Knockavilla NS

We have had a really busy 2 weeks in Scoil Mhaoilíosa celebrating World Book Day, Seachatine na Gaeilge and wearing yellow in support of Daffodil Day. Our 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils performed in the Cor Fhéile in the City Hall, playing and singing ‘The Sally Gardens’ and ‘Amhrán na mBó’. A huge thank you to all the teachers involved. Wishing Miss O’ Shea’s class the very best of luck in the VEX Robotics finals on the 9th of April.
