Advent Candle Prayer

We light the first candle, known as the Prophecy Candle, symbol of Hope.  The prophets spoke of the coming of the light and of justice into the world. May we remember those in darkness hoping for light and peace in their lives.

Parish Office

The Parish Office will open next Wednesday 4th December 9am-1pm instead of the usual Thursday 9am-2pm.  Please have your notices in early to make sure they are included.

Crib/Christmas Carols

After Mass on Sat 7th December Fr Finbarr will turn on the lights in the Crib outside the Church and afterwards the Choir will lead us in Christmas Carols.   Please come and bring the children to open the door into Christmas.

Crossbarry Community Christmas Lights

The Crossbarry community will switch on their Christmas Lights on Sat 7th December at 5pm.  Refreshments compliments of Centra.  All welcome.

Festive Flowers in Aid of Habitat for Humanity

Kick start your festive season by joining the HHS Habitat for Humanity Team 2020 on Wednesday December 4th at 7.30pm in The Copper Grove. Join us for ‘Festive Flowers’ and let Maree O’Sullivan Long show you how to fill your home with festive floral magic this Christmas! Maree will create six flower arrangements and has very kindly offered to raffle them all on the night. Entry is €15 and includes refreshments at the interval and free entry to a draw to win one of Maree’s festive floral centrepieces! An additional raffle will also be held with fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. A great way to awaken your festive cheer while supporting a great cause! We hope to see you there. Coffee Morning in aid of Habitat for Humanity

Paddy O’Halloran, a 4th year student in Hamilton High is organising a coffee morning in his home in Castlelack, Bandon (eircode P72 K076) on Saturday 7th December 1am-1pm.  He is one of ten students travelling to Romania over the Easter holidays in 2020 to assist building an emergency shelter for the local community.  All welcome.

St. Vincent De Paul Annual Collection & Assistance for Christmas

St Vincent De Paul are holding their annual church gate collection on Dec 7th and 8th at all masses in Innishannon parish.
