Episcopal Ordination: The Episcopal Ordination of Bishop-Elect, Fr. Fintan Gavin will take place in the Cathedral of St. Mary and St. Anne on Sunday June 30th next. The Ordination Ceremony will be relayed to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen and will also be live-streamed on our diocesan website www.corkandross.org as well as the North Cathedral website www.corkcathedral.ie. Please keep Fr. Fintan in your prayers.

A Day of Encounter with the Saints
On Saturday 29th June Solemnity of Ss Peter & Paul at St. Benedict’s Priory, Cobh, Co Cork. A series of lectures by William A Thomas and John Donovan. William A Thomas is a Roman Catholic Theologian and Mariologist. He is a member of the Pontifical Marian Academy based at Vatican City. Considered by some to be one of the World Experts on the apparitions and message of Fatima – he has a general interest in promoting authentic and true devotion to Mary. He will be joined by John Donovan of Dungarvan who is renowned for his expertise on little Nellie of Holy God. John will bring with him the relics of Little Nellie for veneration. Bandon River Amenity Development Report, Public Meeting, All welcome
Have your say in developing an amenity strategy for the Bandon River Valley. Friends of Innishannon, supported by Cork County Council and Avondhu Blackwater Partnership are hosting a public meeting in the School Hall on Tuesday 9th July 2019 at 8pm. Please come along and help you community to devise a strategy to sensitively develop the Bandon River Valley and add to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of the area. This plan will be your plan.
