Will be recited at the Grotto in Innishannon each Saturday during the month of May at 6pm.  All welcome to come and pray.

Tidy Towns Work Nights

This week’s work night at 8pm on Tuesday will begin at the Church and work up past the School and the housing estates.  This a big undertaking so we are appealing to the residents of the estates to come and help.  Next weekend is the Innishannon Steam Rally and it would be good to have the road way to the Rally looking good.

Friends of Innishannon AGM

This this Monday 28th at 8pm the A.G.M. of Friends of Innishannon will be held in Innishannon House Hotel.  The guest speaker will be Justin England of Cork County Council who will outline his vision for a progressive community.  There will be an update on the Playground and the Old Tower.  Everybody welcome so please come and share the hopes for the future of Innishannon.

What positive changes can we make? Scoil Eoin, Innishannon, Wednesday 6th of June at 7.30pm.  All welcome. Admission free.  Innishannon/Knockavilla Peace and Justice Group.

The Irish Cancer Society operates a free transport service for patients attending hospital for chemotherapy treatment. Volunteer Drivers pick the patient up at the door of their home, drop them at the hospital door, and then when finished treatment, will pick them up and drop them home. Volunteer expenses are paid. Patients wishing to avail of this free service should contact their healthcare professional, visit the Society’s website at irishcancer.ie or contact the Irish Cancer Society for more information on 01-2310522.
