Spring event, Decade of Commemorations.  Speaker Bishop Paul Colton on Wednesday 6th February at 8pm in the Hall, Parish Church, Blackrock village.  The hall is situated behind St. Michael’s Church, Blackrock.  The 202 bus passes the church.P

Days of Recollection

Guided by the writings of the Servant of God, Mother Marie Adele Garnier (1838-1924), Foundress of the Adorers of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Montmartre, OSB.  Saturday 23rd February 2019The theme this month is: The Beatitudes.  St. Benedict’s Priory, the Mount, Cobh, Co. Cork.  Begins at 9am with Holy Mass and Adoration.  1st talk at 11am. Innishannon Scout Group Fundraiser

Innishannon Scout Group table quiz will be held in Johnny Crowley’s Bar on Friday 8th February at 9pm.  €40 for table of 4.  Lots of raffles on the night & great prizes to be won.  Please support, it is usually a great night.  All welcome.

Valley Rovers Ladies Football Family Bingo

Tidy Towns Table Quiz

On Friday 15thFeb at 8pm in Barrett’s Bar, Tidy Towns will hold their annual Table Quiz with Jim Kilduff as Quiz Master.  This is our annual fund raiser to enable Tidy Towns to continue planting trees and shrubs and generally improve our beautiful village.  It is also a very sociable and fun filled occasion.  We will be delighted to see you there!

Innishannon Flower & Garden Club

Will hold their February meeting on Wednesday 13th at 8pm in Barrett’s Lounge. Guest speaker is Mary Sweetnam. Mary will address “Spring Time in the garden” and will give us lots of helpful tips and practical ideas. Everybody welcome

Innishannon/Knockavilla Defibrillator Group

We are holding our next Defibrillator and C.P.R. training course on Monday, Feb 11th in Upton 6.30pm to 10pm. Kilmacsimon Rowing Club Fun Run/Walk & Lotto Results

Kilmacsimon Rowing Club are pleased to announce we will be holding our annual Fun Run and Walk on Sunday February 10th at 11.30am.  There will be a 6k course as well as a 10k course.  Registration is from 10am at Kilmacsimon Community Centre.  Runners €10, walkers €5.  Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Men, Ladies & U16s.  Post-Race Refreshments/showers/changing facilities provided.

Kilmacsimon Rowing Club Lotto Results Lotto Results 28th January.  Numbers drawn – 13, 22, 26.  No jackpot winner.  €35 winners:  Ned Lee Arundel, Ballinspittle.  David Duggan, Bandon.  Phyllis & Paul O’Driscoll, c/o Railway Bar.  Next week’s jackpot is €4,150 and will be held in Corcoran’s Bar, Ballinadee on Monday February 4th.
