The Corpus Christi Procession will take place on Sunday 3rd June at 7pm in the grounds of St Patrick’s, Upton.

Mass for the Bereaved will be held in St. James Cemetery, Mahers Lane, off the Bandon Road on Tuesday 12th June at 7.30pm. All welcome.
Gardens & Galleries
On Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th July from 10am to 5pm Innishannon will again host Gardens & Galleries. Over that weekend a variety of gardens & art exhibitions will be open to the public.
Tidy Towns Work Nights
Thanks to all who came out to help up the hill last Tuesday night. Thanks also to the car owners who on Wednesday morning parked off street to facilitate the County Council Sweeper which as a result of that co-operation did a great job. This Tuesday night we will be at the village end of Bothar na Sop.
Knockavilla N.S. are holding a Parish Sports Evening, on Friday 15th June at 6.30pm sharp, in Brinny Pitch. The sports are open to all children attending Gurrane, Castelack, Innishannon and Knockavilla National Schools. Children living in the parish but are not attending these schools are also welcome to partake. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 15th for a fun night.

Innishvilla Soccer Club
Congratulations to our U-16 team on winning The Cork Schoolboys Cup last Tuesday night. In a nail-biting final they came out on top with a 2-1 score line against favourites Kanturk. Goalkeeper Seán Egan was the hero of the evening with a string of fine saves including a last minute penalty. At the other end of the pitch Neil Collins scored the all-important goals. This was the team’s last game at schoolboy’s level after competing for 6 years, and what a wonderful finish it turned out to be.

Music Ministry Together, Summer Course
Each Summer Music Ministry Together organises a course for both youth & adults who have a passion for liturgical music and the desire to serve as ministers in their parishes, schools and communities. Our theme this year is “Come to me”, taken from Matthew 11; 28-29. The course will run from 3rd-8th July in Cistercian College, Roscrea.
