Annual collection for the Diocesan Pastoral Development office will be taken up at all Masses next weekend – Saturday/Sunday 12th & 13th May. Your generosity to this collection enables the office to continue to offer training and formation for pastoral groups and parish ministries, adult faith development opportunities, and the preparatory programme towards the World Meeting of Families.
Rosary will be recited each Saturday during the month of May at the Grotto in Innishannon village at 6pm.

Tidy Towns Work Nights
Each Tuesday night at 8pm volunteers will meet at the corner by the traffic lights to work at different venues in the village and along the approach roads. Help is always welcome and much appreciated. Tidy Towns is all about community and our slogan is ‘Together is better’.
May 10th: Part of Scoil Eoin Scor talent with music and entertainment. May 17th: Trip to Griffin’s Garden Centre, Dripsey. May 24th: Music from St Michael’s Centre Bandon.
Innishannon – Knockavilla Defibrillator Group
Are currently organising C.P.R and Defibrillator training for anyone in the parish wishing to avail of it. Our next course will be held on Monday, May 21st in Upton, commencing at 6.30pm. These courses are led by trained personnel and you will receive a certificate [Irish Heart Foundation]. Our next skills night, for all trained personnel, will be held on Monday, May 14th. 8.30-9.30pm, in Upton. This refresher only takes a few minutes. Important to keep these skills fresh in your mind.
Gurrane National School Sports Day
Invites you to our Annual Open Sports Day, Friday 18th May in Brinny GAA grounds. A fun family event featuring tiny tots, three legged race, sack race, long jump and sprint races. Team events include sprint relays and our famous Tug of War competition with reigning champions of 30 years Glasheen Boys NS returning to defend the title. All welcome, Registration from 6pm and first race from 6.30pm, See you there!.

Castlelack are having their annual sports day in Brinny pitch Friday 25th May at 6.30. All welcome.
