Devastating Floods in Kerala Province in India
You will have seen in the media about the devastating floods in Kerala Province in India which resulted in hundreds of people dead and serious damage to homes, schools and services.
Kerala is the home province of Fr. Paul Thettayil, Rosminian, St Patricks Upton, whose family are still living in the area and whose homes have been totally destroyed. In fact some members of his family were missing for several days, thankfully they have all been found.
The SECOND COLLECTION at masses in Innishannon Parish next weekend September 15/16th will be in aid of those affected by the flooding in Kerala and the funds raised will be forwarded by Fr. Paul to the Community Leaders in the area who will ensure that the money will go to those who are most in need in that region.
We pray for Michael Cronin, Kinsale who died recently. We also pray for John Kennedy, Athenry, Co Galway who died recently.
We pray for Mary & John Ring, Innishannon, Ann Corcoran, Roscommon, Bridgie, Jer & Jim Forde, Garrettstown, Betty Galvin, Dromkeen/Cork, Mary Kenneally, Templemartin, Alfie Callanan, Tallow & Denis McSweeney, Ballinacurra.
